Rod Holst, owner and operator of Adult Living Solutions, is dedicated to assisting folks with what can be a daunting task as they prepare to find new living arrangements for individuals or family members.
Rod's clients love his personalized approach in finding just the right fit for their needs. After carefully analyzing their concerns and priorities, he recommends communities or facilities that he has personally visited and approved of. To simplify the process, he has created easy-to-use forms to help clients keep track of the amenities they are looking for. Rod is known and respected by many for his caring attitude and integrity.

Seniors Need Advocates
Rod worked as an investment broker before retiring 12 years ago and while working, he came across many clients who were worried about aging and/or having to deal with the need for a retirement or assisted living facility. Very few people look forward to the daunting task of finding the right home. Every person he spoke with about this found the process difficult, tedious, and confusing.
Rod saw the opportunity to combine service for others with a life-long dream of working for himself. He felt seniors needed advocates and felt he could do a good job of connecting them with resources in our community.

Satisfaction in Service
Rod enjoys helping others and bringing peace during a stressful time. He works for the person seeking assistance, on THEIR terms. Clients are very appreciative and wish they would have known about his services sooner. Rod's goal with each person is to find a comfortable home that they can be happy in.
Rod remembers one particular situation where a woman was alone in Eugene. Her husband had passed, and she had surgery. Her closest relative, a daughter, was in Alaska and was concerned about her mother finding the best place. Rod was able to meet her mother, take her on tours of facilities, and find the right facility, much to the relief of her daughter.

Community Involvement
Rod has lived in and been a member of the Eugene/Springfield, Oregon business community for 30 years. He and his wife, Betty, are proud parents of 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
Rod enjoys serving his community through membership in the Southtowne Rotary. He is an active member of the Alzheimer's Association, the Oregon Senior and Disabled Services advisory board, the Oregon Gerontological Association, the Senior Professional Information Network, and Marketing of Senior Services.
Rod regularly gives informational presentations to various organizations throughout the community.
